This semester, the Geometry/CAD/Construction classes are working hand in hand to build new ticket booths for the football stadium.

The class was given a grant of $1,500 to work on the construction of these ticket booths.

Geometry teacher Ms. Meghan Carlson is working with Mr. Ron Rivera to teach the real world problems with building the ticket booths involving Pythagorean’s Theorem and trigonometry.

“They had to make sure the walls were all rectangles. They had to be sure that opposite sides were congruent and that there diagonals were perpendicular,” said Carlson.
