Friday, Aug. 24, at 7 p.m. Eisenhower’s varsity football team kicked off their season with a 34-6 victory against the Rich South.

The team was led by quarterback Senior Scott Gardner who threw for 120 yards.  Another break out star of the game was Senior running back Timothy Baity, who rushed for 242 yards and four touchdowns.

“It was a great game, we were able to work out all of our first-game mistakes,” says Gardner. “We will work to improve.”

The sophomore team won 26-0 and the Freshmen team beat Bremen 42-8.

The Varsity team will next face off against Urban Prep West in Chicago on Sept. 1.
