Eisenhower High School is well known for its action-packed TV Production and Broadcast News classes. Unfortunately the classes are only open to grades 10 -12, but thanks to a new club that all changes.

218 TV Club is a newly developed after school club that attends after school events such as sports games or other school events. They then meet in the Tv studio to edit the events they filmed.

Ms. Lindsay Dahlke,  club sponsor, says the club is significant because, “if students can’t fit TV Production or Broadcast News onto their schedule, they can join the club without being in the class.”

The six members of the club have all learned how to use the studio cameras and Dahlke has let the students edit on their own to build on creativity. They usual meet on a couple of Fridays every month.

The Administration decided to create this club to help each school make sure the schools were giving the cable channel content to put onto the channel.
